Yes, hypnosis is generally considered safe when performed by a trained professional.
During a hypnosis session, you will be seated comfortably in my office in Stuart. I will then guide you into a state of deep relaxation, often through the use of verbal prompts and guided imagery. This state is known as hypnosis or trance.
Once you are in a state of hypnosis, I will make suggestions to your subconscious mind to help you overcome your addiction to smoking. These suggestions may include visualization techniques, positive affirmations and new habits for you to adopt.
I will also help the person to identify and address any underlying emotional issues that may be contributing to your addiction.
You will only need 1 session to quit smoking permanently.
The whole session usually lasts from 90 – 120 minutes. After the session, you will typically feel relaxed and refreshed and have no more cravings for a cigarette.
No, you will not be unconscious during the hypnosis session. You will be in a state of deep relaxation and will be able to hear and respond to suggestions made by the hypnotist.
No, hypnosis does not involve making you do things that are against your will or that are embarrassing. A qualified hypnotist will not make you do anything that you don’t want to do. The purpose of hypnosis is to help you make positive changes in your life, not to make you look silly or feel uncomfortable. During a hypnosis session, you will be in a state of deep relaxation and will be able to hear and respond to suggestions made by the hypnotist, but you will always be in control.
