Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers – strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength."

The benefits of participating in the HYPNOBORN™ program include:
- REDUCED PAIN AND DISCOMFORT
Hypnobirthing techniques can help mothers manage pain and discomfort during labor and delivery, potentially reducing the need for pain medications or interventions.
- INCREASED RELAXATION AND COMFORT
The deep relaxation techniques used in hypnobirthing can help expectant mothers feel more comfortable and calm during labor, which may help labor progress more smoothly.
- INCREASED CONFIDENCE
By reframing the way the expectant mother thinks about labor and delivery and providing techniques to manage anxiety and stress, hypnobirthing can help increase the mother’s confidence and sense of control during the birthing process.
- SHORTER LABOR
Some studies suggest that hypnobirthing may lead to shorter labors, potentially due to the reduced stress and anxiety that can help the body work more efficiently.

Still nervous? Don't just take my word for it...
According to an article in the Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice journal, HYPNOBORN™ is linked with quite a few benefits – it can cut down labor pain, shorten labor time, and even reduce the need for drugs. Not only that, but moms reported feeling happier after birth and less stressed. To top it off, the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine ran a study showing that the ladies who used HypnoBorn felt more satisfied with their childbirth experience and carried fewer negative vibes than those who didn’t.
When I found out I was pregnant I was so excited. My husband and I had been wanting a family and I wanted to be a mom my whole life. I was not anxious or scared about being pregnant. What I was most anxious and nervous about was actually labor and birth. I had no idea what to expect. You hear stories from family or peers about their experience but that didn’t help me prepare myself for what I was about to experience. During my OBGYN appointments they told me there were different classes I could do to help me prepare. I looked into them and none of them felt right. I asked my Mom if she could help us. She did! We went through the class together and it made me feel very prepared. It gave my husband techniques to help me breathe, and to remember the skills we had learned together. My first baby came very quickly and was very unexpected so I didn’t have time for an epidural or any pain medications. Not my plan at all, however my husband reminded me of everything we learned for pain management and breathing skills.
For my second baby I needed a refresher so we went to my mom and she helped us again. I learned and held on to different things this time around and felt even more prepared and more at ease for the birth day of my little baby girl. This class gave us a plan, and tools to use, questions to ask the doctors and made our experiences what we wanted.
This time things went according to plan. I got my epidural and I used different skills with breathing and pushing than I had with my first. We felt empowered to make decisions and very prepared both times. This time things went according to plan. I got my epidural and I used different skills with breathing and pushing than I had with my first. We felt empowered to make decisions and very prepared both times.
I recommend this class to all of my friends and to people I meet out and about. It truly does have something for everyone no matter what your plan is! Thanks, Mom!

Who You’ll Be Working With
Stephanie DeWayne understands how vulnerable and powerful pregnancy can be
This work is not just something she teaches. It’s something she has lived, witnessed, and guided firsthand.
She has spent over 30 years in healthcare, supporting people during moments when the body and nervous system need to feel safe in order to function well. That experience shapes how she approaches birth preparation: calmly, practically, and with deep respect for the body’s natural intelligence.
Stephanie is a Certified Clinical Hypnotist with more than 1,200 hours of advanced training. She works directly with the subconscious mind and nervous system, helping women release fear, soften tension, and build trust in their bodies rather than trying to control the birth experience.
She has also guided her own daughter through the HypnoBorn® process for all three of her births, including the arrival of her newest granddaughter in April 2025. Being present for those births changed how she holds this work, not as a technique, but as support during one of the most important transitions in a woman’s life.
In addition to hypnosis, Stephanie is a Master Intuitive Energy Healer. She uses this work gently and intentionally to support emotional safety and grounding, especially when fear or past experiences surface.
The HYPNOBORN® Program is not about forcing calm or promising a perfect birth. It’s about helping you feel supported, steady, and connected to yourself so you can meet your birth experience with confidence and trust.
